Chloe and Fr Michael begin their journey to Poland

Picture

This picture shows a proud Fr Brian saying goodbye to Chloe, Fr Michael and recently ordained Fr Chris at St Chad's Cathedral, Birmingham yesterday afternoon before they started the 30 hour coach journey to World Yoth Day.

Chloe caught up with a familiar face to the Worcester parishes in Fr Dominic.
You can see by the smiles on their faces both of them are really excited for the journey ahead.

Fr Michael and Fr Chris knew exactly how to handle the 30 hour coach journey and started to dish out the supplies to there fellow pilgrims. As approaching Dover Chloe let me know that the mood on the coach was still upbeat with excitement and that Fr Michael had arrange with the priest at Our Lady of Dover to say mass for the Birmingham group before heading to board the Ferry.
Below you can see a picture from the mass courtesy of BCYS Facebook account.

The Birmingham diocese are due to arrive at there first stop for World Youth Day this evening. They will spend the first week in a diocese outside of Kraków helping out with families and getting to know some of the local culture.
