What is Anchor?

Anchor is a course that is taking place in Catholic Worcester which helps every Christian to grow in knowledge, understanding and love of their faith.  In a friendly and gentle way using art, prayer and Scripture, Anchor teaches the basics of the faith for anyone wanting to know more.

Who is it for?

In short Anchor is for everyone!  
  • If you are not a Catholic and would like to explore what Catholic believe we would like to invite you to our sessions.  
  • If you would like to become a Catholic, this course is for you.  We will help through the steps to becoming a Catholic over the year.  
  • If you are new to the Catholic faith, or have been a Catholic for many years, and would like to know more about what we have always believed then please join us.
  • If you would like to know about handing on our Catholic faith to family members, for example, children who are preparing for Baptism, First Holy Communion or Confirmation, this course will be very useful.

When do the sessions take place?

From Friday 14th October, they take place every Friday between 7pm and 9pm at St George's Parish Hall.
